Golden Couple

Hola mi familia,

yesterday we had two baptisms it was a married couple who are golden, we are going to start talking with their kids today because they are interested in the message also. And the other photo is me and my grandpa, the dada of my dad his name is Elder Norcross
First and foremost answers to your questions,
we are renting the house and the landowner doesnt want holes in the wlls so i am not able to put up my hammock untill later, propablt the next Today we played soccer with another 8 missioanrys it was alot of fun, we went ho,me and cleaned the house and then we go get things that we need, like today i amd going to buy some shampoo, becuase the bottle i started my mission with is running out, and i have used it every day.
i have to giv ethe turtle away because we cant have pets, and i am learnig to cook some real mexican food, its really good, and i am starting to get used to the spicy stuff, kills my stomach later but my mouth loves it.
on a tracting day we get up at 6:30 in the morning excercise for half an hour and then we have a hour to shower shave change and eat breakfast, 8-9 we have personal study. 9-10 companioship study, 10-10:30 langauge study. then we laeve to work, we eat lunch at two and are at home by 9 or 9:30, thats a normal day.
i ahvent been thinking waht i wnt for christmasits starting to feel like howlaween bescae of decorastinst ann stuff that i am seeing.
we go to get our investigators at 9 and are at the churchj before ten, its a somewhat active ward but we are starting to pick up some speed. they do it differently here in mexico, some are 18 when they leave then the return at 20 to begin school and looking for theirs wives to begin the second mision of a family. he is near the border, its called Tierra negras.
i am sorry that budge died he was a fun coach.
i got a letter from sister Jorgesen dn her primary class, a folder of sisters and elders missionarys with the names of the kids ijh her class, it was really cool.
How are things going with the missionat¡rys over ther with you guys,
well i love you all and hope that this week is going to be good,
be safe and know that the Lord is with you.

Hola mi amorroso familia

Hola mi familia,
how are you all doing? i am doing good, still learning and still teaching like i am supposed to.
i am excited that Jace Justin and Jax all won there games good job guys, keep up the good work. Grandma pat sent me an e-mail telling me about the wall, and also a picture, it looks really good. there aren't any construction sites in this area so i cant talk to any contractors.
i am getting along with my comp just fine and i like this area. i am learning how to be more sociable with people.
Last week on Tuesday we had a Mexican Night Party at the church, there was singing and dancing and food, all was mexicanish and really cool.
i also got a email from grandpa, i am glad that they are doing well.
The icy hot is because sometimes i wake up sore from not sleeping well, and we don't have hot water in the house so i figured some icy hot would work. my toe is fine and i am not taking any meds, the last package was opened and then retaped because the missionaries in the office said that my name was not on the package so they figured it was for the mission, but they called because they found the letter in it and told me that i would be getting it soon, and i got last conference so its all good.
The work here is a little more difficult because people have rumors about the church, because three years ago a member killed her son, so people have the idea that we murder our children. we walk a ton i am going to have better calves (bulls) then dad when i get home.
i am growing a lot here spiritually, and my days are a lot better when i am able to think about the atonement that our savior and redeemer suffered for us. yes i am writing in my journal.
Here is my testimony for everyone.
There is no doubt within my heart that this is the Church of God and that Jesus Christ is our savior and redeemer and that he suffered to pay for our sins so that we could return to live with our Father in Heaven. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and through its teachings we are able to grow closer to our Father in Heaven.
i know its a short testimony but its whats in my heart.
I love you all and will be sure to have photos next week,be good, safe and trust in your Father in Heaven.
Elder Jordan Ross Weaver.

We so look forward to Mondays! It seems that each week we get this enormous gift from Jordan and we are so grateful that we can communicate with him so easily. We are so grateful for the wonderful testimony of the gospel that he has and for being willing to share it with our Brothers and Sisters in Veracruz. It sounds like he and his companion, the other Elders in the area, could sure use our thoughts and prayers to get past this "rumor"...thanks to all of you that are keeping up on his progress and writing to him, we appreciate your time and we know for sure that he does!
We pray for those in Veracruz to have their hearts softened, and that they will find peace in the gospel.
Keep smiling Jordan and keep your chin up,
Have Faith, the Church is true!

Dad, i have never held any hard feelings against you, at times i got angry and didn't want anything to do with you and mom, but they never lasted long. and you are not the one to blame i should have trusted you and mom more to come and talk with you guys instead of always saying i want to quit. but the truth dad i could always take what the couches through at me, i don't really remember why i wanted to quit. but its in the past, i am here now and you have three other sons who need their father to help them in their lives.
Love you dad, see ya in 18 months.

Hola mi Familia!!

Hola mi familia,
¿Como están? Estoy bien como siempre,
the first picture is of a couple of houses in a small Little area called Robles, we went there yesterday to see how the members are doing, about 13 were there its pretty small, and there aren’t any missionaries over there because its part of our area. i like the houses because they make me think of how the Nephites and Laminites built theirs when they were here.

Looking for Crocs...
The second picture is of me in the canoe we have to take to get to the village, I was looking for crocodiles because the guy taking us across always tells us to be careful because there are some in the river, I didn’t see any so no photos.

Spiders....
The last picture is of a tarantula that my companion found in his pants as he was picking them up to take em and get them washed, we killed it with some poison and then I put my name tag next to it, so we could see the size of it. COOL HUH!!!!!

i have only been using one pair of shoes, and they are starting to get some wholes in the soles, my goal is to keep using the two pairs that i have so i need to find a place where they resole shoes.

Today while walking over to a sisters house for breakfast, i found a live turtle in the street, i gave it to the sister and she said she will keep it until its bigger and then eat it. i haven't had any strange food yet, but i am told there is turtle, armadillo and pig intestines. when members give me the plate i don't ask what it is i just start eating then i ask afterwards what i just ate, that way i don't get sick while i am eating.

Mom you know i am a fast reader it takes me less then 10 minutes to read all the e-mails i get

I sent Landon i letter a while ago but i am not sure if he got it. tell him i am really excited for him and not to worry about the Spanish, work on the grammar principles and he will be fine, also start eating spicy foods, start his stomach on the change now so he wont suffer to much, and also Pepto-bismal will become his favorite medicine when he gets a stomach ache and/or diarehea.

My toe is fine i am going back next week for the guy to check it, to make sure its good.

There is a little girl here who cant say my name she says elder beve, just lake jacer said dodo. Also the daughter of a investigator calls me little brother. we go to visit them and she comes running to me shouting Hermanito, Hermanito. then she starts making faces at me.

i saw some really cool urinals today, instead of a handle there is a foot peddle to flush them kinda of like a gas pedal in the car.

the garments the drylux stuff is great and also a can of French Vanilla Hot chocolate.

I have made a goal for the next six months top get 50 people baptized and confirmed, my first six moths i got 19, and now i have a goal.

Well i love you all and will talk to you next week.
Elder Jordan Ross Weaver.
Can not believe that you are 1/4 of the way done-
What a great adventure you are having!
Be safe, and we know you will work hard to reach your goal!
You are always in our thoughts and prayers...
The houses are amazing, it looks like one is smoking on the side...
I sure take my home for granted...the turkeys are huge,
so glad that you saw no crocodiles, and should I send bug spray? :)
Just add to the list of worries for Mom:) Ha, Ha!
"Have faith not fear"
Love you so much, Mom and Dad
