spoiled...

This made Ross and Jordan laugh, the dirt is so high and not regulated, or covered, same with the rocks in the truck below...

We stayed at the Hilton near the Villahermosa airport, so glad we picked a name familiar with the states, we drove by some of the other places we considered and very scary

Notice the police in the truck, we say this all over as we were driving around, some had machine guns, usually the truck had more officers..
First hot shower in a long time, we had Jordan and Elder Groesbeck back to the hotel before our Ward Family Home Evening and they took hot showers and we ironed their clothes...

Beautiful place

Tuesday transfer day...good bye to Groesbeck...

what a behind the scene we got to soak up-gradually this bus station was filled with white shrits and ties, some skirts :) We got to drop of Elder Groesbeck for his next assignment and waited and watched as more missionaries came and went...

It was great to see how worn out the clothes were, some had paint on their slacks, others holes in their collars, brown stain from the back pack strap, humble servants of our Heavenly Father, the young men are working their clothes and bodies so hard, spent money on a "toaster" rather than a new shirt :) Have to ask Jordan and Groesbeck about that story...

They came with all that they owned, left it for moments of reunion and good byes, swapped phone numbers and email addresses and hugs that someday they would see each other again...

Finally the place started to clear out...and we were off for our day with Jordan-could not believe that this day had come...

Transfer at mission office

Ward farewell...

We were invited to come back to the church Monday evening for Family Home Evening and a good bye party for the Elders...so overwhelmed by the time and effort that was put into this "event"....
Jordan and his last room mates

In this picture you can see many things, we are in the chapel/cultural hall, you will notice the seats on the stand, they were completly full with members waiting to bear their testimonies on Sunday, they had to have deacons block the stairs to keep others from coming up so that they could stay on the meeting schedule.
Notice no piano, just a keyboard and CD player, this is also the room where gospel doctrine was taught for Sunday School. The Sister behind me had us for dinner Sunday and her family is so great, very humble people...
The woman in stripes behind Jordan had a missionary out and told me in broken Spanish how much she loves Jordan, they all did
we were told we may have refreshments, buy the time it was all set up, it was a pot luck dinner, all were so generous and gracious.
This group did some spanish dancing and we were told that the taller young lady is Catholic and loves to perform with the bishops boys...
Bishop and his wife, wonderful people!
Jordan and the girls....a few of the sang solos that night, amazing voices...

We went to his house for dinner Sunday, what a spit fire little man, he asked Ross what he thought about Americas immigration laws :)

Bishop's family of boys and their friend
Amazing night, had no idea what to expect and left in tears...
