Luchas Era Chiddo

Elder Weaver?
Hola mi familia,
¡¡¡¡¡¡JUSTIN HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
be a leader and be sure to do your best in all things, love ya and be nice to your brothers.
ya futball was a lot of fun we played four game my team lost, the first one we one 3-0, the second we lost3-2 the third won we one 3-1 the last one we lost 3-2 but it was fun. love ya be good. and if you think its hot in your sweater, you should be where i am ha ha.....
¡¡¡¡¡¡¡JAX HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the two touch downs bud, this week lets get 5 three for me and 2 for mom and dad, okay bud love ya hug mom and dad for me. and now you are at full back wow bud that's great, be sure to tell mom and dad to have movies of the games so when i get back we can spend some days watching them all and you can explain them to me, love ya goofy.
Jace your birthday is in two weeks i will tell ya happy birthday then, love ya keep helping Alex and be an example.you aren't telling me much about whats going on with school and football, and i would like to know whats going on, is Penrod still a coach, if so does he scare the heck out of ya, have you talked to Mrs. Miner yet, if not do so she is a lot of fun, also the librarians tell them your my brother and they will be nice, you may need a picture, and who do you have for seminary. Love ya.
The activadad went well it was a lot of fun here is a picture of my costume, I arm wrestled with everyone who came into the Luchas room, the second photo is of three kids who took me on, I don’t remember who won.The last photo is of your son who was dead tired after the activity, but it was a lot of fun. We didn’t get any reference from our area, but it was a lot of fun with a bar with soda, a disco with Mormon rock a casino with dominoes, and we had a older brother dress up as a prophet in the old times it was chiddo, cool.
I go to get my hammock today because the lady needs some time to make it the way I want. Its going to be cool, picture of it next week.
Calle verlin, is one street that we live on its in Hidalgo, i am sorry i didn't get the information this week has been busy because we were preparing for the activity and for the baptism, but when we went to get the young man and go to church he wasn't home and we could not find him so we are hoping to get him in this week.
Last week i also got a ingrown toenail removed, the Dr. didn't numb me, so i felt everything, i really wanted to kick the guy in the head, but i didn't so its all good.
i am dreaming in a mix of Spanish and English, its really interesting. i am still the same in my personality and everything i have only lost weight and gained a more firmer testimony of the church and also more knowledge of the world and how it works.
i love all the food, but when its really spicy, i am drinking a lot of water.
Today we went over to a sisters house and learned how to make Mexican Pizzas, it was a lot of fun, pizzas down here have no pizza sauce so we use ketchup on it once its cooked.
here are a few things i need, three pairs of garments, and a tube of IcyHot three more pairs of church socks, and that's it, but still give me some time before you send a package so i can see what else i need,
that's everything for Today i will try to have a better address next week
mom and dad i love you and always will.
Dios te bendiga (God bless you)
Tu hijo, y tu hermano,

Excitement

District Soccer
Hola mi familia,
Estoy bien como siempre, es bien calor en me area pero esta bien porque estoy aqui trabando para mi padre celestial.
(I am as always. It is hot in my area, but it is fine because I am here working for my Heavenly Father)
Yes I did get Grandma's letter.
I took out $100.00 because I want to buy a hammock to sleep in, and they are really nice down here. I sleep fine in the bed but would like a hammock.
This Saturday we are doing an open house at the church. The theme is the Plan of Salvation. We use four rooms for things that will help return to live with God like temples and baptism, and four rooms that are sins, like a bar and a casino. The people who come have 30 minutes to do the things that they want, and as they pass through each thing a missionary marks where they have been. I am going to be a luchador and invite people to watch a movie of wrestling. I am going to wear a mask and cape, and after the 30 minutes will be the judging and separation for the kingdoms of Glory. The celestial will have a white cake with the Salt Lake Temple on it. I am really excited for this. And we have a baptism this week, also a young man from the ward will be performing the ordinance. I am really excited. The work here is tougher, because three years ago a returned missionary killed her son, so people don't really want anything to do with us because of this story.
We have been fixing up our house, the first two weeks we did not have a sink that worked in the bathroom because it was on the floor, so we stuck on the wall where it should be, don't worry I have photos galore.
I get cold at night because I have two fans blowing on me, but I like it because I wake up, turn the fans off and instantly sweating because of the humidity, I think this is the second or third hottest area in the mission.
This first photo is of me and my district, we all bought shirts that are the same and we have our names on the back of them with our favorite number. The second is of me, and the third photo is a wind tunnel I made with a fan and my bed sheet to stay nice and cool in the night.
How are Grandma Linda and Grandpa Steve doing? I would still like their address so I can write them and talk to them about the church.
Our Spanish soccer player

JACER, way to go my brother from the same mother! Sophomore year and playing for the Varsity team. Be sure that Dad gives ya a big bear hug for me okay, and be sure to give every person out there on the field who is not on your team a really hard time like a Weaver should.
Love ya and be sure to remember your schooling and be an example of your faith.

JUSTINO, Hola presidente Weaver, I am so excited for you and the new experiences that you will be having, be sure to enjoy every minute of it and also, be an example, make Mom and Dad proud while your out there on the field and do your best in school, be the leader I know you are and remember that I love ya.

GOoFY JAX, a new position in football where are you now? Do you get to handle the ball? and how many touchdowns are you going to make this year? I am not going to be there to watch so I want three for me every game and the rest can be for Mom and Dad okay, buddy, Remember you schooling and be sure to be obedient and helpful to Mom and Dad, Love ya goof.

MY BROTHERS, every one of you should be writing in a journal and reading your scriptures, helping Mom and Dad in any and every way you can, and remember your prayers every night and morning, also be an example of your Father in Heaven.

HI Mom and Dad, I hope that everything will continue to work out over there, and I will always have my family in my prayers. I know that this is the Church of God and that Jesus is our Savior and Redeemer, I have felt their love so many times since I have left you that I could never deny my faith, nor would I ever want to. I will always be safe as I am obedient and trust in the Lord.
I love and miss you both very much, but I am where my Lord wants me to be. The time is going quickly and I will see you before we know where the time went.
You are all in my prayers and will be forever,
Con amor
tu hermano, y hijo

Thanks Hermana Hansen

Sis. Hansen,
I hate to bother you with such a small request, I hope you don't mind...our son Elder Jordan Weaver emailed us today and stated that they are fixing his apartment up, and then asked about his bank account and not being able to get money from it...we have checked into this today and he was not set up to make out of the country transactions. We have fixed this problem and he should be able to get access to that account now. We are concerned that he might need something and this is the first time he has asked, my request is...do you have contact with his zone leader or him, that he could get this information sooner than our email next Monday? If you could we would so appreciate your help. Thank you so much for all that you and President Hansen do for these young men and women. I have spoken with others and I feel very blessed that Jordan is able to serve with such wonderful people. Thank you again for your help.
Have a super day
With love and gratitude,
Sis. Weaver

I just spoke with Elder Weaver and he is really excited to have access to his money. He says that he will be taking out about $1000...relax, that is pesos. He has big plans to go big time shopping. He is having a great time and loves his new area. Pretty great that he is singing in the choir and loving it...I am so glad that he is enjoying his mission so much. Thanks for sending him to us. He makes me smile!
Con amor,
Hna Hansen

What a great lady, I sent my email and we got her response about two hours later!
Love you Sis. Hansen, thanks for being so wonderful and taking the time to help us out!

The things you learn with a first son/missionary/guinea pig? :)
Have fun shopping Jordan!

Dios te Bendigan

¡Hola!‏ Hola mi familia, estoy bien y todo aqui en Mexico esta bien.
My companion is a lot of fun and the area is good.
Today we played soccer with the district and some young men. Next week we will have a tournament with the whole zone, there are four districts and we are all getting different jerseys for each district.
We are back to an hour for e-mails, the hour in a half was a one time deal.
Tell Shaun and Jill I am sorry about the baby, and I will keep them in my prayers.
Our house is good, we fixed the bathroom and now we have a working sink.
I have been trying to get money out of my card but it's not working, can you let me know how much is in it and where it is?
My stomach is fine and I am getting used to spicy foods. I am learning to cook in Spanish, I look up new words everyday and my Spanish is getting better.
Yesterday for branch conference we sang in the choir. it was a lot of fun, all the men wore suits and red ties. It was really good.
Jace, Justin, and Jax, I want you to know that I miss you and that I love you. At this time don't be afraid of anything. Be smart in all the things that you do and always remember your prayers and to read the scriptures. Love each other and be sure to help mom and dad in any way that you three can. Do your best in all things and learn from your mistakes and the mistakes of others. I have a fortune cookie that says "The foolish don't learn from the wise, but the wise from the foolish." I will let you three decide what this means and be sure to remember that you are sons of God.
Mom and Dad I love and miss you too, but I am where I am meant to be. I know that the other three are nervous about things but it's natural, my advice is to show a lot of love and they will be fine, but when they are having a really hard time be patient and wait for them to come to you. You both have more experience at this then I do and I have always felt awkward giving others advice.
At the moment I don't need anything so maybe wait on that package I will be sure to let you know of anything I need, but can you get me Jeff's address. And how are Elder & Sister Beardall doing, are they still staying busy? and has Grandpa Steve shown any signs of coming back, what about Grandma Linda any interests about the church? If you can, send me their address. I still have hope that they will come around.

Well I love you all and hope that the lord will always be with you.

What greater way to learn Spanish, than to cook it! Jordan has always been a great cook and I am sure he is enjoying this muy!

...so it's all good.

Buenos tardes mi familia.
HI family,
How are you all doing I am good, just getting over two days of diarrhea and throwing up, but I feel a lot better so... Mom and Dad please don't worry, the Lord is with me and I will always be fine as I obey and work.
I traveled with two other missionaries on Tuesday and they were both from my original zone and so it was all good.
My new companion is Elder Sierra, he is 18 years old and has six months in the mission, and tomorrow I complete five.
The Spanish is better and the people are really friendly, it's a lot hotter here then it was in Lerdo but people always offer drinks. I think I have had more Coca Cola here then I have ever had in my life.
The house is smaller but it works because it's only two of us living in it. I wont get the package until Wednesday. We have a shower that works so its all good.
Monday my last day in Lerdo one Hermana bought me a small cake as a going away present. I would send you pictures but I cant find the port to intsert my card on this computer, next week hopefully there will be photos.
I received letters from Brent Hart and his family, George and Lynn, and Bro, Sis Ivie, if you can tell them thank you, and I will try to write back on another Monday when I might have more time.
We bought stuff for the house today to make it more comfortable, and we are going to fix it up.
Jacer, I want you to know that I love you and know that you will be a great missionary, but right now enjoy being in school and doing the things that you are doing at this moment. Be an example to Alex and pray for her dad's heart to be softened. Tell her that there is a missionary in Mexico who will be praying for her also. Do your best in school and football but, remember you are a child of God and that you need to behave as such. In high school be careful with the girls please. Love ya
Justin. at this time I want you to enjoy being a leader and an example to those around you. Learn and grow and don't be afraid to ask for help, that is something I never did and my future is going to be affected because of it. If you need help ask for it. Be patient with others and show love for all. Be obedient and helpful, this is a time for you to perfect your abilities and to learn more for your future. Be careful around the girls please. love ya
Jax, hey bud, don't think that I have forgotten you, I want you to be as dark as me when I get home okay. Watch and take care of the other two boys and help mom and dad as much as you can, but most importantly have fun, you are young and still have a lot of years ahead of ya. Enjoy this time but be sure to learn from the things happening around you. If you want to save your money for a bike put it in the bank account mom and dad have for you, then watch as it builds over time. love ya
Mom and Dad, I am fine and I don't want you to worry about me. 19 more months and I will see you again and then two years after, I will be visiting you guys with my wife, and then another two years you will both be grandparents...time is going by to fast to worry. I know that you are both great parents and I am eternally grateful for the chance to be your son. I sometimes did and still do wish I had a older sibling to look up to, but it seem that I was the one entrusted with that responsibility. Thank you both for great 19 years of living, but it's not even close to ending. Love you all and will always have you in my prayers.
Con todo de mi amor, y la amor de Dios
(with all my love the love of God)
Su mayor Hijo, y Hermano,
Elder Jordan Ross Weaver

Wow, what more could a parent want, we feel so very blessed to be entrusted with such a wonderful spirit of our Heavenly Father...Keep up the good work and smiling attitude Jordan!
What a great example you are to your brothers and us-
Thanks, love you so much, feeling so blessed, Mom and Dad

19 more months to go, but who's counting:)

I feel like I should add Coke as a sponsor-hope it helps the belly problems...
