Buenos tardes mi familia.
HI family,
How are you all doing I am good, just getting over two days of diarrhea and throwing up, but I feel a lot better so... Mom and Dad please don't worry, the Lord is with me and I will always be fine as I obey and work.
I traveled with two other missionaries on Tuesday and they were both from my original zone and so it was all good.
My new companion is Elder Sierra, he is 18 years old and has six months in the mission, and tomorrow I complete five.
The Spanish is better and the people are really friendly, it's a lot hotter here then it was in Lerdo but people always offer drinks. I think I have had more Coca Cola here then I have ever had in my life.
The house is smaller but it works because it's only two of us living in it. I wont get the package until Wednesday. We have a shower that works so its all good.
Monday my last day in Lerdo one Hermana bought me a small cake as a going away present. I would send you pictures but I cant find the port to intsert my card on this computer, next week hopefully there will be photos.
I received letters from Brent Hart and his family, George and Lynn, and Bro, Sis Ivie, if you can tell them thank you, and I will try to write back on another Monday when I might have more time.
We bought stuff for the house today to make it more comfortable, and we are going to fix it up.
Jacer, I want you to know that I love you and know that you will be a great missionary, but right now enjoy being in school and doing the things that you are doing at this moment. Be an example to Alex and pray for her dad's heart to be softened. Tell her that there is a missionary in Mexico who will be praying for her also. Do your best in school and football but, remember you are a child of God and that you need to behave as such. In high school be careful with the girls please. Love ya
Justin. at this time I want you to enjoy being a leader and an example to those around you. Learn and grow and don't be afraid to ask for help, that is something I never did and my future is going to be affected because of it. If you need help ask for it. Be patient with others and show love for all. Be obedient and helpful, this is a time for you to perfect your abilities and to learn more for your future. Be careful around the girls please. love ya
Jax, hey bud, don't think that I have forgotten you, I want you to be as dark as me when I get home okay. Watch and take care of the other two boys and help mom and dad as much as you can, but most importantly have fun, you are young and still have a lot of years ahead of ya. Enjoy this time but be sure to learn from the things happening around you. If you want to save your money for a bike put it in the bank account mom and dad have for you, then watch as it builds over time. love ya
Mom and Dad, I am fine and I don't want you to worry about me. 19 more months and I will see you again and then two years after, I will be visiting you guys with my wife, and then another two years you will both be grandparents...time is going by to fast to worry. I know that you are both great parents and I am eternally grateful for the chance to be your son. I sometimes did and still do wish I had a older sibling to look up to, but it seem that I was the one entrusted with that responsibility. Thank you both for great 19 years of living, but it's not even close to ending. Love you all and will always have you in my prayers.
Con todo de mi amor, y la amor de Dios
(with all my love the love of God)
Su mayor Hijo, y Hermano,
Elder Jordan Ross Weaver
Wow, what more could a parent want, we feel so very blessed to be entrusted with such a wonderful spirit of our Heavenly Father...Keep up the good work and smiling attitude Jordan!
What a great example you are to your brothers and us-
Thanks, love you so much, feeling so blessed, Mom and Dad
19 more months to go, but who's counting:)
I feel like I should add Coke as a sponsor-hope it helps the belly problems...
